Good God Charlie Brown

Every time you turn around the Christian god is being besieged in America. Before we founded our great nation, most people only believed in the divine right of kings; the idea that God only gave power to kings and those kings were accountable to no one.
But what made America unique was that it was founded on divine providence.
Remember the term “endowed by their creator” in the Declaration of Independence? That was a revolutionary conceptat the time and it means that God actually had a hand in the world’s greatest experiment in democracy.

Although America boasts 300,000 churches, we still abort millions of babies, homosexuality is becoming normalized, drug use is rampant, unwed pregnancies have reached 70% … the list goes on and on and on.

I can’t believe I used to be apart of a once great organization, The United States Air Force, especially when they do something as egregious as they did a few months back. Military unit patches often use Latin phrases on them. One that included the Latin phrase that translated to “Doing Miracles with Other People’s Money”. Yup you guessed it. Atheists! Damn atheists protested and the Air Forced removed the patch so not as to offend them. Here’s something, I’m offended because they removed the reference of God!! I truly don’t understand how atheists can be offended by something they don’t even think is real. I don’t believe in Fairies but you don’t see me protesting Walt Disney to remove images of Tinkerbell.

Now here’s one. A Massachusetts school, Brook Elementary School in Bellingham removed the word God from Lee Greenwood’s hit song “God Bless the USA“. They played this at every unofficial Military event, sporting event and civic gathering during the late 80’s and early 90’s. It is even played at every naturalization ceremony right after the National Anthem. I know, they played it at Mrs. Bigdawg’s citizenship ceremony in a Federal courthouse.

Now here’s a good one. A group of Muslims are complaining that they are contently being bombarded by Christian religious symbols such as crosses at , get ready for this, the Catholic University. Why the hell are a bunch of Muslims attending a Catholic university in the first place.? I think we are seeing good Christian values just for not kicking the ever loving crap out of them. I mean what would happen if a group of Catholic students went to the University of Islamic Studies Karachi , Pakistan and demanded crosses to be placed for them? I’m thinking beheading video at ten o’clock on the Al-Jazeerra network.

If God doesn’t smite Washington, D.C. soon, then he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology. Last Thanksgiving, President Obama did not include any reference to God during his weekly address titled, “On Thanksgiving, Grateful for the Men and Women Who Defend Our Country” His remarks were void of any religious references although Thanksgiving is a holiday traditionally steeped in giving thanks and praise to God. He left any mention of the divine out, but included our military. But on Memorial day Michelle Obama and Labor Secretary Hilda Solis has authorized new posters featuring first lady Michelle Obama to be placed in elevators throughout the Department of Labor headquarters in Washington, D.C. Not a single troop is pictured but her.

This is what happens when stupid societies allow grievance politics to trump all. You don’t have a right to not be offended. Just ask a Christian, whose values are trampled every day in the popular media.

Not only have unwed pregnancies reached an incredible level, but they’ve lost all of the disgraceful stigma that they once had. “Baby Mommas” proud show off their “baby bump” and have no shame that their multiple children are all from different men – none of whom had the wherewithal to step up and marry the woman bearing his child.

Given that motherhood (and parenthood in general) is considered such a trivial matter, it’s understandable that most of the resulting children seem devoid of any moral code or concrete idea of what being a parent is about.
