Made You Look

For today’s stupid news. A few weeks ago State Rep. Mandy Powers Norrell, a Lancaster Democrat, accused West Point and Annapolis cadets of racist hand gestures.

Well guess what? The Service Academies investigated and found out it was, drum roll please, the circle game. Come on I was doing this in the nineties in the Air Force. Rules are ” The objective of the “circle game” or “basic killer” [1][2] is to form a circle with one’s thumb and forefinger (the “OK” gesture) on the leg below the waist and get someone else to look at it.[2] If the person looks, the gesture-maker gets to hit them,[1] or is simply considered “out” or “killed”.[2] In some variations the target can put their index finger through the hole without looking at it and thereby win the right to punch the maker of the gesture ” Gained widespread use when featured on a Malcolm in the Middle episode.

Unreal. Now they say the OK sign is a hate symbol. Hey proclaimers of the offended. Just because you say something doesn’t make it true. No you can’t have this, it’s not yours. Nobody ere gave it to you. I’m currently using it, go wank off.

Let me know what you think. The comments and pictures are all in fun. No sense of humor? Too bad.

Enough is enough. During the Brett Kavanaugh hearings Zina Bash was reported sitting behind Brett flashing a white supremacy sign. Zina Bash is half Jewish, half Mexican, born in Mexico. Yeah you heard that right a Jewish / Mexican woman was flashing a white power sign.

This came to my attention as I was reading this.

I didn’t even know until that was suppose to be a racist thing. I thought it meant O-K. Him too.

WIKI definition.

Well they can’t have it. I’m standing my ground on this one. Lost the rainbow and the word gay. I’m keeping the O-Kay sign by god.

Turns out the whole thing was a hoax by 4chan users. Who says? How about the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)? You know. Jews. They ought to know a thing or two about while supremacy groups. ADL on OK symbol.

When I was in the military we even played the circle / hole game. After all a bunch of grown bored guys are just better paid high school guys.

In case you don’t how to play it, let Malcolm show you.

They still refuse to grasp reality and admit Hillary lost. President Obama said she was on the right side of history! So they comfort themselves with alt-reality fairy tales about how Russian Spymaster Boris Badinoff “infiltrated” and “hacked” the election with “fake news” while Steve Bannon rallied the millions of Klan voters.

Like a poo-throwing child in a tantrum, they fling blame in all dirctions: Racism, sexism, old white people, that recently-uncovered secret cabal called the Electoral College…”

Vote Early Vote Often

I read today that Obama’s Justice department filed an objection to the Texas voter identification law. The Justice Department’s head of the civil rights division, Tom Perez, sent a a six-page letter to Texas’ director of elections saying that Texas has not “sustained its burden” under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act to show that the new law will not have a discriminatory effect. WTF? How hard is it to get an ID card of some kind? How do these people (from now on meaning the identification challenged) cash checks? Either paycheck or welfare. How do they cash in food stamps, or collect any type of public or private benefits? How can anybody exist in a modern society without the ability to prove who they are?

Holder’s Justice Department is another one of his tools for playing the race card. And by proxy Obama also. Holder, Jesse Jackson and ACORN would like to tell you a fable of voter ID trampling down the rights of the black man. Obama’s reelection will surely hinge on ten or

twelve key states such as Ohio, Michigan and Virginia, all which have large African American populations. Obama can’t tout financial prosperity to his African American base? I mean what if they ask themselves, ” Am I better off than I was four years “? No he is playing the race card through Holder, artificially creating a race discrimination that isn’t there just so he can ride in and conquer the mighty evil Republicans.

Study after study reveals that voter ID has virtually no effect on legal voters. The only thing it does is prevent people that are not authorized to vote to not do so. I would suspect that the Texas objection is stemming from the states large Hispanic population. As a native Texan, every Texan Hispanic citizen I knew had some form of identification. The only ones that didn’t have any were wetbacks. There I said it. It’s not a racial term, it’s a bias against illegal foreign invaders. The Hispanic U.S. citizen or legal foreign nationals, it doesn’t apply to them. Duh.

Last year my state of residence Mississippi and I voted in a mandatory voter identification law. All this means is you have to show a government issued picture ID to vote. This is anything from driver’s license, state ID, Retired Military card, government worker ID, state university, passport or any government issued ID. I’m sure Holder will eventually get around to us. In the meantime, tomorrow I’m off to cast my vote for presidential candidate. My only dilemma is whether to take my driver’s license, military ID, government computer access card, passport or concealed carry license as identification.

The Dollar Vote

It’s All About the Benjamins

Amid the fervor around the debt and economy, Democratic donors are expressing their displeasure with their pocketbooks, or lack of it. The national committees are the central contribution-gathering bodies for the parties, and the funds are used to win close-fought seats in the House and Senate as well as purchase advertising and pay staffers.

* The DNC took in $12 millions in June, 8 million in July, but only 5.4 million in August. With $9 million in August expenses. Leaving $3 million left in the bank.

* The RNC took in $8 Million in August. $6.5 million in expenditures. Leaving $8 million.

* The GOP is seeking to rebuild its reputation as an effective fiscal steward under the leadership of Reince Priebus. Under previous chairman Michael Steele longtime supporters abandoned the committee for inefficient spending and a series of scandals.

* In the upcoming months the Republican party will spend most of it’s capital with candidates fighting each other for the presidential nomination. While the Democrats can use the time and money to rally around an incumbent president.

Rough Week

It’s TGIF for President Obama. This has been a particularly nasty week for him. It’s been nothing but bad news served with a topping of more bad news. Some of the bad tidings are the following.

Unemployment remained steady at 9.1 percent. Obama keeps diverting attention with an array of distractions but this is the one thing that will derail his second term

Last Wednesday the Taliban launched a 20 hour attack against American and British special forces at the US Embassy and International Security Assistance Force headquarters in Kabul. U.S. officials are looking for direct evidence between the insurgents and Pakistan’s intelligent agency.

Now emails have surfaced that show the Bush administration rejected a government loan to Solyndra. Bush officials stated that the loan application needed further study before it moved forward with tax payer assistance. In fact the Department of Energy’s committee unanimous rejected the loan. So how did flat out rejection morph into a presidential endorsement? Seems like the white house had it’s thumb on the decision scale.

GOP Victories

Two key Democratic districts were won by Republicans. The first was in New York. Anthony Weiner’s old seat was won by Republican Bob Turner. This is the first time a Republican has held this seat in over a century. Also in a landslide victory, a key U.S. House position was won by Republican Mark Amodei. This is a clear message to Obama and other democrats on the economy.

Race to the Bottom

As I was watching Hannity on Fox News last night on one of his segments featured Tavis Smiley. Tavis Smiley is a talk show host, author, liberal political commentator. He currently hosts the PBS talk show Tavis Smiley. He was brining to light how he has become disenfranchised with President Obama. He and fellow Poverty Tour speaker Cornell West have been critical of his hands off approach to the poor, mostly inner city and Native American reservation poor. Cornell West teaches African American studies as a Professor at Princeton University, and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of American. The fact of the matter is while Obama’s approval rating dropped 5% among blacks, he still enjoys 85% support. He also dropped 5 points in the Hispanic community, from 59% to 54%. There will always be some support in these camps despite the fact that their lives are steadily getting worst. But he is losing numbers.Obama has kept unemployment in the nine percent bracket, has focused on deficit instead of jobs and panders to the rich and elite. As more and more of his poor supporters witness more $2500 a plate diners they will one by one move away from supporting him. The problem is that he was seen as one of them. They expected more from him just because he was black. There I said it. A lot of the last liberal voters that turned out last election never had voted before. Having never studied politics they couldn’t understand that he would have never one if he had focused on one particular faction. I read somewhere, and if I could remember where, I would credit them. In order for a minority political to win locally, say, a city councilman, he focused on his constituents. Mostly made up of an ethnic or race group. But as he expanded out to city, state or national seats he had to broaden his constituency to everyone, abandoning the singular original core.

And Justice from All

More than six in 10 now disapprove of Obama’s work on jobs and the economy. This is everybody. Obama needs to shore up the same base that put him in office in 2008. But he can’t. He has always ran on the “One America” platform. If he placates his base he risks further losses from the rest of the majority. Already more and more independents are starting to look at GOP policies on the economy and job creation. He has an uphill battle. Frankly one I can’t see him winning, considering he basically has one year to do what he couldn’t in two and a half.
